CENTER FOR CHARITY AND ORPHANAGE.

we care about children and also see to their well being, in so doing we see that the are not being laboured, palpably destroyed and exploited
we have been making great strides through our different charity programs but we believe by the help you render to us we will go on further and see to it that poverty is eliminate in nigeria and africa in a whole.
These are the things we hope to achieve before 2006
1. Education: to ensure that everychild under our care has the chance to go to school
2.Vaccination:which saves the lives of at least 2 million children every year.
3.Cleanwater and sanitation: provide an easy excesss to clean water
4.Protection:seek to protect all those children from violence and exploitation.

These are the pictures of the northern side of Cameroon, people who have no hope and people who have no future, they are looking up to the world and other living creatures with all the luxury around them and everything they want.

Is there really any future for these ones looking at us through the system, this is a question we need to answer. We can do something about it.

The charity center for the less privileged and orphanage is all about an organization who are really concerned in the warfare of suffering citizens, we have gone a long way to ask for funds and also raise funds for them. Right now we have about 800 orphanages ‘people who have no parents’ and also 780 less privileged people under our care and we are doing everything possible to see that the get the best and also have a brighter future in there life.

We are in the business of eradicating poverty in Africa whatsoever the conditions and also see that those who are suffering because they have no one to take care of them now have the chance of better life.

We also want to create a scene whereby the children from ages of 12 are now sent to school so as to have an educated back ground and have a chance of being among the working population.

Talking about education. A good education prepares a child to cope successfully with life in today’s society. They are equipped with academic skills including the ability to read and write well.

Also to make them interact with others and fortifies wholesome standards of morality.

We care about children and the way they are labored. Millions of children are forced to work under the worst conditions, it is cruel to children and insulting to human dignity, but I think there is still hope for our children.

Children under these conditions are forced to run out of their adopted home an run to us for help and its now our responsibility to take care of them. Take a look at Amelia; a seven year old girl forced into child labor. This is what she has to say;

            AMELIA’S WORDS

Hello my name is Amelia, and I live on the island of Caribbean. I am seven years old. Some time ago my poor parents handed me over to a rich family living in the city.

Today, like any other day, I got up at 5 o’clock in the morning. I fetched water from a nearby well. It was very difficult for me to balance the heavy jug of water on my head, bur I made it otherwise I would be beaten to hell. Then I prepared breakfast, and served it to the family. I was a little late in serving breakfast, so that the master beat me with a leather strap.

Afterward I walked the family five year old son to school, next I help prepare and serve the family’s lunch. Between mealtimes, I had to buy food in the market, run errands, tend the charcoal fire, sweep the yard, and wash cloths and dishes. I also washed my lady’s feet. Today she was very upset and she slapped me in anger. I hope that tomorrow she feels better.

I was given leftovers to eat—at least the were better than the corn meal I was given to eat yesterday. My clothes are ragged and I have no shoes. My owners have never allowed me to bath in the water I bring to the family. Last night I slept outside; sometimes they let me sleep inside on the floor. Too bad I could not write because they never let me go to school.

Have a nice day     AMELIA.

We want our children to be treated like our society’s future rather than economic goods. We want to eliminate poverty because we found out that the most powerful force driving children into hazardous, debilitating labor is the exploitation of poverty.

We have gotten little funds from the united nations children’s fund and we have been using the little we have to develop, promote, and enhance the children’s mental, physical and moral growth so that the do not become palpably destroyed and exploited.

We have been making great strides through our programs but with your help I think we can still do much more.

In Africa, everyday 380,000 children are born into a world of poverty, hunger, disease, violence, what hope is there for a child today?

In the African village of comosawha, an 11 year old girl spends each weary day grubbing for weeds to keep her alive.

In world summit to undertook a joint commitment to make an urgent appeal- to give every child a better future.
